Radiator change, how hard?
my radiator in my 100 2.2 QT MC 10v has sprung a leak so a new one is arriving tomorrow, so i need to know if this is as simple as it looks in my repair manual, or is there anything i need to know before tackling it myself,
thanks in advance.

It's been awhile, but if I remember correctly you need to loosen the PS pump and swing it out of the way. Other than the obvious (fan and shroud removal, radiator mounts detach) that should be it.

radiator replacement is not the easiest thing on that car. I'd reccomend getting all new bonded mounts. They'll all be broken and stripped. Plan on spending 2-4 hours on this depending on your skill set. Remove the front wheel and the inner fender for the best access.

Toughest thing is to get that lower middle retaining screw loose. From under the car, I believe its hidden by a splash guard. Along with moving the pump (do not disconnect pump hoses), its pretty much what the book says.

thanks for the advice chaps, but one slight problem i have,
the radiator arrived about an hour ago and upon inspecting it, it turns out that the left hand side (looking at the front of the car) bolt hole at the top for the fan to fix onto is in the wrong position, it is literally at the very end of the radiato ather than being about 2 inches in, so will this make a difference, just having 2 fixing bolts for the fan at the top, will vibrations make it loose? also it is impossible to create a hole as there is not enough material to drill through, and i dont have access to a welding machine just now so i cant weld a bit on either.
