Default Non running '88 5KTQ - Where to start...

So the southeast has finaly cooled off that I'll venture outside from time to time. Need to give the old girl some TLC. She wasnt wanting to run very well before. Its been about 2.5 years since the last time. Back then I was suspecting a big intake leak.
Not sure where to start now. 206K miles on her.
Put in a batt and she would turn over.
Looks like she needs gas, was thinking about cleaning out the tank.
Took out the mish/man hose, no cracks there, going to take it to town with me tonight and make a plug to presure test the intake.
I was suspecting that the injector seals were toast. Where to get parts nowdays?
Any one got a link to a good check list to go through?
I've got a rebuilt turbo for her too. So I was thinking about taking off the intake to get to the injectors, and that would be a good time to switch out the turbo i guess too.

Thanks
Britt

All you need know can be found here. I would change the fuel filter and pump out the tank. To pump out the tank remove the feed line to the fuel filter(hook it up to a hose and put it in a gas can) Next insert a spare fuse in the fuel pump relay and turn the key to the on position the fuel pump should turn on.

http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/</a

Default Gas Tank draining.

I actually have an extra fuel filter thats been laying around in the trunk of the car. I was thinking about puting in a 3-4 gallons and sloshing it around a bit and pumping it out like you said (forgot the fuse relay trick thanks). Then just running that gas in the lawnmower and putting in another fresh 5-10 gallons while I work on getting her going.

I had serched for the sjmautotechnik site eirler today, and found it quite different than I remember. Dont remember all the pay to get help stuff. I thought they had alot of how to pages for free before. Cant seem to find any of that. ( ahh just found it under diags )

I do have the bentley for that car as its about my 4th type44.

Thanks for the info.
