Ignition Cylinder Help?
Hey,
I now have my new ignition cylinder re-keyed to my old key and have my New,original factory key -with light- cut to match---now----How/where do I drill the tiny hole in the ign.lock housing in order to reach the springclip with a paper clip to pull out the old ign. lock cylinder??? Do I need a special drill? My drill seems to large to get to where I would need to drill. BEntley supposedly has a picture of where to drill but I do not have a Bentley.....
Thanks,
Aaron

Re: Ignition Cylinder Help?
You need a right angle drill to get in there.
If you have a new cylinder in your hand, just inspect it. See where the spring clip protrudes? That's the corresponding spot to drill in the housing.
If you look further down to my "Weekend Woes" thread, you'll find quite a bit of info on ignition switch and lock replacement. My ignition lock kicked the bucket this week.

Re: Ignition Cylinder Help?
Any Sears or Home Depot should have one. ~$100.
You can also look for a Right-angle attachment.
It's basically another drill chuck set 90 degrees, with a handle. You fasten it to your standard drill.
