Default Hey Everyone. Long time no post:p The 5000 is gone, but dont fret.....

Its been quite some time since Ive been on here. Hope all is well. I see some new names since the last time I was on.

Long story short, I decided not to do the twin turbo v8 project with the 5000. Instead I am doing the conversion to my 1990 V8. Since the v8 is all setup already and it has all those asthetically pleasing V8 body parts I like so much.

Here is some more info on my motorgeek project thread:
<a href="http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=303634#303634">Adams Twin Turbo V8</a>

also, some videos of the 5000 for those of you who dont remember:

In other news, I bought a 96 Volvo 850 R as my daily for the time being. I did an HID headlight conversion on it and bumped the boost up a little bit. Other than that the car is pretty much stock. I enjoy driving it but I do miss quattro.....

Hi Adam..........good to see you back here again. Like said, I am one of the old guys that has mostly moved on, but do come back here occassionally to read posts, but post few new posts. Long ago, I posted heavily for about 10 years about all that I know about working on Audis in trying to help others. Finally got burned out. Now I hardly recognize anyone on the forum at all.

Start posting on a new project, would like to hear what you are working on.....Larry (Rooster2)
