Default brake booster question

Does any body know if Audi #443612099c (brake booster) requires the "adapter piece" to be installed in my '87 5000qt? I know this is an old number because they are now selling a new aluminum version with an diff. part number and it requires the "adapter piece". I assumed that the one I have is the 'original' part/part number. They sell for $600 or more all over the place but I snagged this one on ebay ,new-old stock, for $ 95.00 !! Time to make that warning light vanish forever!! wwoooooohhhooooohhaaahhhaaaahhha.

-thanks
aaron

Default suggest calling the "Parts Department"..........

at your local Audi dealer. The Parts guy should be able to look that up for you...........Rooster
