So I decided to do a head gasket that keeps growing and growing, new lifters, valve job, de-grease/wire wheel/paint every piece i pulled off, Had to make the tool for pulling the harmonic balancer, New oil lines to and from the turbo/oil cooler,

special tool number 99

and now im chasing after power steering hoses...any suggestions? I spent several hours driving from one store to the next today asking if they would make a hose or had fitting that I could put together,

does anyone know where I can locate parts or have one made up? in this day and age 22 years since the cars were made?

here is how she is looking, i got some more stuff put on after these were taken, but closer,

NAPA sells a power steering high-pressure hose for about $32 + shipping. Includes a lifetime warranty (I think). I paid about $40 for mine about 2 years ago and it works fine.

Search this forum for the NAPA part number. My local NAPA store found it quickly in their catalog even without the part number. I paid for shipping, but it arrived within a few days.

When I checked last year NAPA only had the 5000 series hose, not the newer 100/200 hose that takes the O-rings. 5000 hose uses crush washers . I THINK the hose would work, but am not certain.

Default Go to Steve at Charlebois on Intervale ave. 658--6085

he is their "hose guy"bring your old coolant lines, oil cooler and power steering hoses. They were done in about 1 1/2 hours.
Had mine made last year for fraction of cost of new ones. These hoses are actually better quality than original.

Heat cooks the copper in the field wire. The copper (a very good conductor of electricity) eventually becomes copper oxide (a semiconductor).

Cut out the green-colored copper oxide segment, splice in new copper, then pull a heat insulating sleeve over the field wire to protect it from heat.
