2-2 above rear bumper corrosion & fix AUDI V8
SEE FIRST 1-2 rear bumper corrosion & fix AUDI V8.
picture 6, new piece wielded in.
picture 7, a little bondo
picture 8, sanded, now with primed coat
picture 9, sanded, no primer
Picture 10, this is now painted, but the colour match is not perfect. Once the bumper was put back on it looked great and you had to look very close to see the difference. Because of the new paint regs, you can’t use the original paint !!! hope you enjoyed seeing something a little different ... hey if you want you could also make a comment it is a forum :-) ?!?!?!?!

Looks good man. Had to do this fix on my old VW GLI years ago. Your right - one can 'get away' with the paint not being perfect on that strip since there's so much going on in that area.
These forums are pretty quite, and so is the "other one". Aren't many of us folks left running these old beasts.

Yes the site(s) are pretty quiet as the car become older and there also are fewer cars. What is kind of funny is that there are lots of hits on the articles and very few comments?! Thanks for your comments :-) superdave
