Default 1990 v8 (d11)

I am working on bringing home a 1990 v8, 3.6L automatic. It has no engine, no transmission, absolutely no interior, but everything else looks good! guy was trying to build a racecar but now the thing has one axel in the graveyard. besides this being a terrible idea, what can I look forward to? I guess I could find a dropout 4.2L type situation. resources seem scarce, could be fun. picture attached from before the defiling of the interior.

It really depends how much time/effort you're willing to get it road worthy. If you're mechanically inclined and have garage space with lift, then maybe a worthwhile project.
Resources are available and the V8 knowledgebase here has a lot of information to reference. Only drawback is parts availability as numerous parts are discontinued (NLA)
given the cars age.

I saw this on FB. I'm glad someone got it. I have a PT with complete harness, air filter housing, snorkels, etc. Honestly, if you want it just have it picked up LTL from my office in NW Ohio (I was going to scrap it because I don't know what else to do with it). I have to pull some stuff off it that I was mocking up for my 4.2 swap into my Coupe before I can let it go though. It has around 100k miles and hasn't been touched in a long while.

There should be quite a few components in this catalogue https://avtopro.es/catalog/
But again with the post above - it all depends on how much money and , effort and time you are willing to spend on it
