Default [V8] Forgetfull tachometer... normal issue or critical?

Yo! V8-boyz! Need I be concerned about a tachometer that seems to forget to register anything at various times when driven? It comes back for the majority of the drive, but once in a while it goes to sleep...

Default Mine does same thing...

Audifans has a write up on the fix. Would have done mine... if I could get the tach needle off. Did not want to bust something so I just put mine back togther. There is suposedly a commen loose solder joint the rattles loose. Supposed to be a simple resolder.

Default Mine does it too

I usually just smack the dashboard. Works every time. She likes it rough.
