Hey, my Coupe GT is really sick, and I'm thinking it's either the fuel injector or the sparkplugs. While I was driving it in idle it almost stalls on itself and I have to step on the gas to keep it from not. While I drive it, the engine stutters and struggles to get gas, the engine just doesn't accelerate. What do you guys think? I don't have time to really do a thorough diagnostic of it being that I'm a student...

Could it be the 'spare fuse' problem? Doesn't *quite* sound bad enough for that..


(When I got caught by the 'spare fuse' problem, I couldn't even get the car to start. Anyone else ever get caught by the 'spare fuse' ?)

I redid both spade connectors to the coil and never had the problem again. I hope that yours is so simple.

little basterd, on the 20v's there is a little red cover that says engine so you cant possibly mistake that for a spare

On my 85 CGT when I had other problems ( specifically the DPR wire cut) and the fuse was out the car would act the way you describe. Stalling at idle, crappy acceleration, rough running.

Also, the timing belt skipping a tooth or so will yield similsr results.
