Default Road America

Is anyone going to the ACNA track event next week at Road America - Sept 17-18? Although I missed last year, this will be I think my fifth time there. Last time I was there though I took my TT Roadster - the last year they allowed open tops, so I kinda had to. For those that haven't been there it is one of the most beautiful - as in scenic - tracks in the country - 4 miles of rolling hills, trees and a good variety of twisties. And it has the famous kink and Canada corner and for us low horsepower cars a real challenge: a little uphill at the beginning of the long straight. But I still get nicely up into the triple digits by the end of the main straight and just before Canada corner too. Going around the carousel, accelerating into the kink and heading down the "kettle bottoms" (back straight) is a kick as is going down moraine sweep to the hard left into turn 5. . .

Too bad. I'll post a report - especially without the bridge - I really enjoyed zipping thru there too.
