Default I didnt rebuild anything either, FYI.

Urq parts were sourced at the Audifans website and also the Motorgeek swap meet section. I was able to score those parts pretty easily, but again it was 4 years ago.

Lemme know if you have any other questions. The 10vt swap is VERY fun! Of course a 20vt is super awesome too

Default Right on. We don't have any plans to dig into them at the moment...

Being that he has 2 complete motors (MC1 and MC2) still in donor cars, one will go directly into his 84 4KQ, and the other, eventually, directly into mine I may opt to rebuild / slightly build up the one that'd go into mine, but funding is not so much of an issue for myself.

Default Thanks Mike!

I really appreciate the sense of community I've seen on this site, as well as over at Motorgeek. I'm really glad I got into Audi's - everyone seems very helpful. I'm very much looking forward to completing a swap. Although I'm sure there will be times I'll be banging my head against a wall, cursing like a sailor and throwing tools across the garage, I anticipate enjoying most of it! I'll have to dig around audifans and motorgeek for parts now...

Default To run some nice boost the best thing is to swap the MC2 cam and k24 onto/into the MC1

Not much of a dig into scenario there.

Just an FYI... My 1989 200 MC1 came with the supertorque belt... I have a useless to me older style belt and pump sitting here to prove it, lol.
