Another source...
I had LED brake light bulbs for about 6 months. After that time, they started strobing and crappin out on me. Pulled them out and put regular bulbs back in.

actually if you had divided your LED's into groups on 6, and wired them in series (across the nominal 13.8 volts), you could have ditched all the additional resistors, and saved a bunch of that wiring.......
