Default Some do, some don't...

You are much more likely to have a fiberglass trunk lid if you have a late Canadian CGT.

Not sure if any early coupes came with them, but yes, there is such a thing. Coveted by the urq boys.. :-)

If you look at the trunk (boot) lid flat horizontal surface, the steel ones are flat.
The fiber glass ones have raised sections below where the spoiler sits on each end.

Certainly seem to be more common in Canada, along with ur-qs with the "expensive" sunroof delete option.

Interestingly the Coupes don't have a trunk liner, the ur-s did which makes a composite trunk with a liner uber rare. As it had to come on an '85 (or '86) ur-q in NA

Unfortunately we need to lose the weight off the other end. At least that's what I keep getting told.

Cheers, Mike

Default If it's US spec, it's metal and heavy.

Of course, as mike mentioned, you don't really need to loose weight in the back, it's helping if anything. That said, I still want one.

Default "Gentleman"....geez, thanx Russ.....

if Ben hadn't shown up I think you should have claimed salvage rights, as I would have just left it on the Carlisle grounds. I may have a line on another, BTW, just in case someone's looking for me to bring more schtuff to Carlisle.
Cheers!
