I had a termsotat problem and my car has overheated. Since i had some pressure building up in my expansion tank i though it was my heasd gasket. Now that i know it a nice big crack between the two valve of the cylinder 5 it make sense that the smoke coming out of the coolant wasnt only from a blown gasket.

Im in the Ottawa area I know there is a euro scrape yard in Hull area but I dont knoe the name. Is there anyone with a spare head for a 2.2 coupe? Would a 20 valve fit on my motor or is there some modification i should do.
Maybe I should buy a new car and when i got more cash swap the Coupe, but theres 239 000 km. Decision decision

last overheating head crack i saw made the top of three of the pistons look like they'd had an unfortunate run in with a shotgun. Otherwise, Blau has a modified sport head that's supposed to make all the difference in the world power wise, but it's something like $1300 US. The 20v heads can be adapted to the blocks, but i doubt it would work without taking the whole engine to a machine shop.
