Hi all, I'm not active here, but I am hoping somebody may be able to tell me if this is worth trying to salvage. The current owner is going to let it go for parts if somebody doesn't buy it whole. He says the wheels are already sold though and will not budge on that fact.
It hasn't run in a few years and is showing signs of weathering. The euro headlight glass is broken for the passenger side and the drivers bucket has lost all of its reflective coating. This thing was resprayed white back in the day, and they coated everything. Even the seals are painted white and it looks pretty horrible. Mostly the paint looks acceptable but it is flaking in a few places.
The interior is in good shape and the milage shows only 36 thousand miles. The taillights are tinted and seem to be in great shape. The owner is going to let me have it for a few days to look over, wash, and try to get running. It didn't seem to have any rust, but I will find out when I can get underneath it.
So does anybody know much about these? Should I snag it to salvage it, flip it, part it, or just plain stay away and save my money? Is the body kit worth anything? It seems like it is pretty rare, but I don't even know if something like this is sought-after. Any input?

Wow. That's pretty cool.
These cars will run even after sitting for a while. I'd say that car would be worth more to someone than the average, run of the mill Coupe. Shame about the paint, though.

That car has been floating around for years! Been on ebay numerous times.
The owner has been attempting to sell that for at least 4 years now, sounds like he has delusions of grandeur. That thing will rot unless someone picks it up and takes care of it soon!

The only ting worth anything on that car is the body kit, wheels and tail lights...
The wheels are required for this kit as stock will look really funny. It is hard to find 4x100 in that offset.
There is a lot of cutting of both front and rear original fenders to get this kit/wheels to fit and usually not reversable.
Perry Mason did the conversion on his car and it looks spectacular without bumpers.

http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18163&highlight=</a
