Default Back to my digital dash

86 coupe GT CE; History: the 3 main lights only go on occassionally now - always together, so I'm ruling out a burned out bulb; and I already replace the dimmer switch So I took the dash apart again - just short of taking the circuit board out of the black box. I checked that I had 12 volts at terminals 11 and 12 (wires from the ignition switch) and again at terminal 6 on the dimmer switch - so there's power to the board (and everything works on the board except the lights). Then I check that I had a a change in resistance across terminals 12 and 25 when I turn the dimmer **** - my meter said 0.5 to 4 ohms but the instructions I have said I should be getting 4 to 25 - so I don't know if I just have the circuit tester at the wrong range (I changed the range and got nothing) or what, but at least there is a change of resistance - and the dimmer works when the lights work. SO I'm thinking now that the problem must be on the board. Does anyone know where I can have the board worked on; or if good used boards are available? My other alternative is to pull the lights out and create some new holders; splice new wires into the yellow/white and green/white - I think - and shove the new lights/holders into the 3 light openings. I could also use led's I suppose. The car is so great - it's disappointing not to have any instruments!
