Disable Factory Alarm
#11
As far as I know you can't. You can take out the alarm module, it's a metal box under the back seat, but it's combined into one module with your locking system. Removing it will eliminate your power locks and possible cause other problems.
If you think that it's a power draw, just replace it. Email chris@force5auto.com and he'll sell you a tested working used one at a reasonable price.
If you want a second opinion ask over at QW.

But until you do the test we've talked about your are just guessing. Several modules on this car can go goofy and end up drawing down power. Put on an ammeter, pull fuses, find the cause, replace it with a used part. Cheap, done, not a hack.

Wow thanks for your responses guys. I will look into testing the fuses and if I'm right about the alarm system I'll email Chris and get a new module. Thanks again, you guys have been a great help!

Sorry to bump an old thread, just wanted to chime in here in case anyone else ever runs into this. I was having the same problem with my 200. Was able to pull fuse #19 under the hood, and that also disabled my antitheft and central locking. Still not sure what's causing it, but as I just had my driver's door apart to fix a lock, probably broke a wire.
