Default What can a bad Heater Control Valve cause?

I had the heater core replaced but it's still smoking, but it's a lot less. The car still doesn't keep heat well...might as well get the thermostat changed? Let's brainstorm here people.

Could be antifreeze still in the ductwork. Will go away with use of the heater!

Default Could be but who knows how much of that stuff is left?

That **** stinks really bad too. I'm getting a new valve tomorrow cuz the one in the car failed a vacuum test and it's leak was audible. How did your experience go? Did you have radiator fluid stuck in your ductwork?

Default Smokie, or anyone else...let me ask you this...it's kinda weird to me.

The car doesn't smoke when it's idleing and the heat is on but when the car is it drive and accelerating than the smoke...uh..smokes. Is this weird or something that's gonna pass. I'll take any opinions or suggetions on this one.
