Default Wet audi 100 s

The drain hole under the plenum cover was plugged with leaves and in a heavy rain water got inside the car and soaked the floor. The carpet and foam backing were/are soaked as are the wires running under them.
The car drives but the automatic transmission will not shift up out of second gear and the tachometer has stopped working.
I have the carpeting pulled up to try it out but don't know what to look at to try and fix or replace.
The low oil light has come on too, but I have plenty of oil and good oil pressure.
Any ideas please.

Transmission computer is in the footwell, I'd try removing it and drying out it and its connector. If it still acts up, you'll need a VAG cable to read its codes and find out where the problem lies.

The wiring diagram i have shows a transmission control module (behind right side kick panel). Would that be the transmission computer you mention? Thanks.
