I want to put a 2" Hitch to tow a very light utility trailer to go back and forth Home depot to do some home project every other week or less.

It's so light that I can move it by my self.

I called a company to install a hitch and they asked me $600.

I think they are out of their mind but I need your opinon as well.

Did some of you intall one on your C4?

That's a bit high, but you'll be hard-pressed to find one under $300 or so. Just make one.

I may use my wife's Volvo, it appears to be cheaper and easier to install.

Assuming that it will work on my avant, and in decent shape etc I might be interested in buying it off of you.
