So with my 409.1 VAG-COM now working (download version) any cool things I...
can use it for besides the usual CELs? I know the real-deal version can do all sorts of things but if I could reprogram my windows to go up with the remote, etc., that would be nice.

I like doing the diagnostic output tests
I think they're available for the climate control system, auto trans, abs, and a couple other sytems.
If you find the right block you can track any engine misfires.
And with the Avants you can activate the secret Batman oil slick generator. Wait! Maybe that was just me putting old ATF in the rear washer bottle and turning the spray nozzle backwards...

ad 64 in the central locking coding....at least that's how the newer cars work
what VAG com did you get ,where from and how much?
i had one that used to work but sent my laptop to my sister in Romania and lost the program DOH!
the new laptop doesn't have a serial port anymore so it's useless.....i tried a serial to USB adapter and still won't work
gotta get another one
