Glove box removal
Hi,
I am trying to remove my cruise control module so that I can do the daignostics tests but I am not sure how to remove the glove box. I've searched the forums and the net in general and haven't found the procedure yet. I also don't have a Bentley manual (yet).
I see that one can probably remove the glove box tray by removing two screws on each side, which secure the piece to which the arms (guides?) are attached. The problem is that I can't get to the two screws on the right hand side (easily) because they behind the glove box tray itsself). (BTW I have a right hand drive car)
I also read something somewhere about removing the two bolts under the "fuse cover" (not really the fuse cover on that side), and the corresponding bolts on the other side.
Any pointers will be appreciated.
thanks.

Thanks Zwoobah and austin-
the method that you guys describe does sound pretty straight forward. I just can't see the bolts which you guys are talking about. Maybe my car is slighty different to yours. I've got a 1995 C4 A6 which was assembled in South Africa. Perhaps Fair Cape can confirm this.
austin I did find this advice of yours somewhere else in the forums :
"Open the glove box door slightly, remove the 4 10mm fasteners in each corner, remove glove box...."
In any case I will take another look and if I don't see the four bolts, I will use the circlip method.
I really want to get to my cc module!
