so I've replace the tank and cap, but to no avail. The coolant is boiling and steam is coming off of the tank, no good. The engine temp is good, goes about halfway up (straight up and down) then cool off to the lower big notch. What could be causing the coolant to boil like that??? It also seems as if the fans aren't coming on at all, could that be the problem? Thanks.

Probably need a new fan. Had same problem with 20V Coupe.

Could be a bad thermostat or blocked radiator (I've had both cause the boil...)

because both the upper and lower rad hoses get hot. From searching, if it were clogged, then the lower hose would be cool or only warm.

I have the same problem, except for the temp gauge at mid way. After a compression test there is a bad head gasket. My boiling is caused be combustion from the motor.

can you preasure-check your cooling system? I am sure Autozone will lend your the testing pump.

Still, it could be very inefficient. I might go for the pro radiator cleaning this spring
