FWIW on many other cars I've owned the level in the rad drops with RPM and load. Turn the heater fan on and the level drops, increase revs same thing. I can understand the RPM correlation but the heater fan always alluded me (it's not like the car was sophisticated enough to have any valving directing coolant to the core).

Update:

I pulled the radiator off and it was definitely clogged. Somebody added that block sealer or radiator stop leak to the system and it plugged it up. I was shaking a bunch of chunky globs of crap out of the radiator. New one should be here soon. I wonder why the added the sealer.. Hopefully nothing major is going on with the motor.

I'm guessing you don't have your lower engine cover. What are you worried about someone doing, stealing your battery? lol. Sounds like you are having difficulties adjusting to a new car, but glad you figured out what the problem might be.

Update: I swapped out the radiator... So far so good, the reservior doesnt leak anymore. I was nervous at first because right after i swapped it the coolant level started to rise. But after some bleeding and driving around it leveled off.

By the way i got this radiator off ebay for $77. I was expecting some cheap piece of crap but it was decent quality.
