Default Another 'is this a good deal' question, please help...

I am looking for a daily drive that is fun and is relatively reliable.

Default Looks pretty decent.

Also a plus that all the work has been done.

If you are serious about purchasing this, I HIGHLY recommend that you ask to have the car taken to be looked at by a mechanic, and take it to the local Audi Dealer to have them complete a pre-buy inspection. This is around 200 and they look the whole car over for any potential problems.

It appears from the items listed that this gentleman has done a great deal in maintaining his car, but there are always the little things that can be missed.

If you've never driven the 100's or A6's, they are both fun and reliable if you keep up to date with the maintenance.

If everything checked out with the mechanics, I'd hop on this because its a pretty good deal.

Offer them $2500, I think it's a good deal. If maintained expect easily another 100k miles.

Default Certainly looks good. All common wear items addressed.

But I'd like to know what precipitated this mass replacement of parts. Calipers? All of them? Why?

Did something bad happen?

Default That's an OK to slightly high price. It will probably be reliable, but definitely not very fun!

I bought an identical vehicle last year with 170k miles for $1200.

Default Why wouldn't it be fun?

I paid more than that for my A6q with 155k on it.

I'd hardly call any non-S C4 fun. More like sluggish barge.
