A6 tail light problems

A6 tail light problems
I'm having trouble with the right rear tail light socket assembly. The fault light comes on occasionally due to the fact that the socket that the right turn signal bulb goes into has a metal piece missing and the bulb doesn't seat correctly. I've tried to search for this part but don't know what to search for and the nearest dealer is 275 miles away. Any advice?

You may be able to simply swap the assy from a junkyard car.
The dealer is going to rape you regardless of how large or small the part.
Which light is not making the connection? The turn signal itself, or the parking lights? Or, is it the brake light?

I've seen around here in quite awhile. Where have you been hiding?

The bulb for the right rear turn signal is the bad connection. Junkyards around here have nothing but Ford pick ups.

Daveinsaltlake Thanks for the offer, but I guess I found one online for $22.50 + shipping. I'll have to hit you up next time. I lurk every once in a while in this forum to harvest a little knowledge, but I'm not a chatty person by nature.
