A6 battery died, now alarm is always on?
My wife left the lights on all night and in the morning the battery was dead. I took the backseat off and started to jump the car when the alarm went off (probably due to the rear passenger door being open). I didn't want to bother the residents of our appartment complex so instead of letting it go on I removed everything and push-started the car then drove it around a while so the battery could charge.
The whole time my hazards(due to the alarm being active) were flashing. I tried to lock the car so the alarm would reset but it wouldn't lock.
Ended up disconnecting the battery and now I wish to just remove the horn from the alarm. It's coming from the rear of the car but I have not been able to locate it.
Does anyone know where the alarm horn is located? Or is there a specific order for getting the car alarm to turn off once the car is started?
Thank you,
Kyle
