View Full Version : Newark [NJ] Airport Valet Parking joy-rided my car when I was on trip - what should I do?!? Josh 04-29-1999, 09:21 PM T1 04-29-1999, 09:35 PM How does it run? How many miles? Was there any damage? You may be able to take it to the dealer and let them check the computer to see if he hit the rev limiter. If there is no damage, unless the Parking Service has a policy on joyrides, there is not much you can do but get pissed off at them. That should shake them up a bit and call the company and demand some type of compensation. Just some thoughts.
Thomas P
98.5 1.8TQMS now with boost gauge! If they ran out of parking and had to jump onto 78 or something to get to a different lot I could easily see 5 miles or so on the odometer.
Usually I think it is easier to go to one of the other airport parking places and get shuttled over. However, now I live close enough so that if it is over about 4 days it is easier to take a cab.
Good luck. |
