Mine scrape quite a bit with the sport pckg. together with ****ty Utah roads. I guess when the temp went sub zero last week they got to brittle. It's still on but probably not for long. Do you think Audi will cover these under warranty even if I installed them myself according to thier instructions, and how would they know I put them on?<p>RobS

Audi does cover their own parts if installed by the dealer at the time of purchase and I have heard they will also cover them at any time in warranty, probably at their discretion. So, if you have a good dealer, you're probably in luck, but you'll have to ask them to find out for sure. (We can say whatever we want here, but the dealer is the one that counts). These things only cost about $30 full retail, for the set of two, and Clair sells them for less than that, so the dealer isn't out too much even if Audi won't pay for it. (And, luckily, you wouldn't be out too much if you had to pay for it, plus you would have a spare for the other side!)
