My experience with Rusnak Pasadena was horrible --belittling and humiliating. They are arrogant and snotty.
David Wolf specifically told me that they could offer me a price midway between dealer invoice and MSRP. When I was ready to purchase, their sales manager scoffed at the deal (David was now on leave of absence for 6 months and could not be reached). The sales manager told me they wouldn't sell below MSRP. When I told them this was the offer THEIR salesman gave me, I was told he wasn't authorized to offer such a deal and his tone suggested I was concocting the story, like.. "yeah, sure he did."
It was take it or leave it. So, I POLITELY stood to leave and said I would try some other dealers. The sales manager laughed and bragged that they were the largest dealership in So Cal and I wouldn't find a better price. The following day I made a deal with Audi Van Nuys for $1450 over invoice within 10 minutes.
For this reason, boycott Rusnak Pasadena.

Just another interesting Rusnak Pasadena story for you.
In 1994 I visited their Mercedes showroom to look at the brand new C-Class and quiz them about the forthcoming C36. I pulled up in my 1987 190E 2.3-16 valve with 110,00 miles on it. I too received the "snotty" treatment from a sales representative who did practically everything to imply that I couldn't afford to buy a C36, let alone a new C-Class. Before leaving, I asked him "Could you be more insulting?" No apology was offered. Later that year I bought a new M5 from the friendly people at The BMW Store in Cincinatti, Ohio. They're a great dealership for anyone thinking of defecting from the Audi ranks.
--Greg Woo--
