I haven't seen a wheel cleaner from Meguiar's. The P21S gel is excellent and recently I have used (and really liked) a wheel cleaner put out by Castrol - I don't remember the name.
MikeS
98 1.8Tqms

Meguiar's does make a wheel cleaner, but it is part of their professional product line. This means that you probably need to go to an automotive paint/supply store in your area to find it. The larger chain auto parts stores usually carry some of the Meguiar's professional line (#7, #9, #2, #26), but I have never seen them carry the wheel cleaner, #00 car wash or #40 rubber & vinly cleaner/conditioner. You could also order it directly from Meguiar's (www.meguiars.com) if you really wanted it.
Dave M - '97 1.8tm

Another option would be the wheel cleaner sold by Griott's Garage. Like P21S cleaner, it is "approved" by BBS for their wheels. I've never used either product...just passing on the info.
Andy Hedin

I've been using soap and water. I'm tempted to give the castrol stuff a try but I'm concerned that it may strip off wax.
Mark

I don't understand why many of your use wheel cleaners to clean your wheels. I just use my sponge and some car wash soap with water in the bucket, and with a gentle rubbing of the wheels i can remove all of the brake dust. No need to purchase expensive wheel cleaners, and no need to worry if a wheel cleaner will damage your brakes/rotors. The only reason I can think of as to why one would resort to using a wheel cleaner is if your wheels are the mesh type (BBS, etc..) that are very difficult to clean.
Chris K
98.5 1.8TQTS Tap Stage II
