Took my car in today to Downtown LA Motors Audi/Porsche/VW to get my 10,000 mile service. I also wanted to have a rattle in my driver side door checked out. The light bulb in that door burned out at 500 miles and since Vasek Polak took apart the door to replace the bulb, it's been rattling over bumps. Anyways, picked up my car this afternoon and the rattle is gone. Also, without me asking, they fixed the squeak in the armrest. I didn't ask for it, and they didn't tell me that they did anything, but the squeak that was ALWAYS there is TOTALLY gone. The service technician there was great, his name was Valentin. My only complaint is that my car wasn't washed. Oh well. I'm more than happy since my squeaks are fixed.<p>Michael

I've heard/read plenty of negative experiences others have had on this board w/dealer washes and surface scratches in their paint! As a matter of fact, I request that they DON'T wash it when I bring it in for service!<p>JT '99 1.8Tqms
