My brake dust generator (read: A4) is requiring a weekly wash with a mid-week wipe down (has 9000 miles on it...).
So someone tell me how much to repaint the wheels (dark gray metallic, like volvo 850 sport...or the PES car), to mask said dust....
steve...hoping it costs enough to put it out of my mind as an option :)
I had a set of wheels painted to match my car. I did all the prep work myself. Mask and sanding and primer. It cast $100 to have the paint put on. I bought all materials. Total price to paint the wheels was probable $200. I bought the PPG paint and had it color matched. The wheels turned out great. If you really want a sharp look, have the wheels powder coated. It's a little more money, but man does the break dust come off easy. To have them powder coated could run like $500-$850. Depends on what color and how much you want coated.
