Two questions:
What are the default sparks used in the A4, bosch platinumns, 4 prongs.
A british mag once showed splitfire platinums gave 2-5 hp over stock plugs, while bosch platinums were just about 1 hp above stock (a small ford escort, uk type).
Anyone every change a regular auto (pre trip) to a tiptronic auto in a 12v a4. How hard and how much. What parts do you need and where do you get them. I am interested...and in the steering wheel mods if possible (dear aftermarket types, lots of us would pay for this....I think). I have wanted this since I ssw an article in the Mpower mag on the Alpina B4.
Jeff

you decide...don't expect any performance gains from plugs.
If you're running extra boost, then get colder plugs (a heat range or two).
Oh yeah...copper is a better conductor than platinum. Platinum just lasts longer. So if you're really looking for good sparks...copper would be your choice...cheaper, too. Just replace 'em every 20K or so & you're "golden".

steve

there is a puff piece on Bosch plugs, and damned if their latest wonder-plug doesn't have multiple electrodes just like ... well, we can't say it anymore.
