There is a small piece of plastic connecting the air intake with the filter box. YBH was supposed to fix the engine (which some of you know the WHOLE story - others can search the archives) which I would think they would make the engine COMPLETE, LIKE NEW, DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
well, when i lifted the hood, the center cover was disgusting - oil stains, anti freeze and the part was missing from the air intake. I asked YBH why that part was missing and they said "It wasn't there when it came in." Oh , so you don't replace a missing piece - so the insurance paid you 4600 bucks to fix an engine, but since that piece was missing when it came in - you don't bother replacing it?? Does this make sense to anyone? Has anyone else had the same experience with YBH?? I almost can't wait for Audi to call and ask about the service I recieved

As many of you know our beloved Jim H. is with YBH and latley he has been wrongly criticized for posting some info. Although I have no personal experience with YBH I would always reccomend them to anybody I know who lives in that area becuase of Jim's valuable contributions to this forum.

Stu Koch
99 2.8 qts

JimH. might be nice and the buying experience was painless but service is another story. I had the service tech. drive our 2.8 and after a quarter mile ask me if this was a 1.8 or 2.8. Also, you need to keep your BS alerter on since they seem to give out a lot. Just not as confident with service as with sales. Makes me feel like I'm visiting a Chevy or Honda dealer.
Jim, can't you hire better people? They're the ones that are really making you the money.
