I finally got my A4 (2.8 qms, cactus green w/ clay leather and sport seats!)<p>It took me a little over 1 year. Problems with another dealer took 8 months and ended with me finally cancelling my order.<p>Then in December I placed an order with Jim H (known by most on this board). He made the entire process painless. 3 1/2 months later the car arrived just as he said. It took maybe 15 minutes to sign the paper work and then drive away. Picked it up April 15th. Never been so glad to see tax day arrive.<p>So I just wanted to say thank you Jim! And thank you A4.ORG. After all, it was on this forum that I met Jim.<p>This experience proves that there really are good dealers out there.

..not p.o.'d at all! I check in with the Forum at least once a day; I tend to listen more than I talk, though. I have been EXTREMELY busy this month because of AoA's rotation of my salesmen (all the Audi sales people nationally) through Orlando/Daytona for TT intro./training. I have gotten quite a few responses to my "stupid" solicitation from Forumites; some I have been able to help, and some I've not. What makes my job rewarding is being able to help someone like Neil Axe or Rich Weinstock turn a frustrating exercise into a fun experience.
