I would like to know if the adaptor for plugging in either the 6 or 8<br>disc changer is simply to change connectors, or if there is any signal<br>modification going on. If it simply changes the connections from<br>one plug to another, then here can I get the pinouts for the Changer<br>itself (the pinouts for the deck are on the back). I have 98.5 Concert.<p>I am doing a custom install, and want to mount the changer in a different<br>location. This will require making a custom cable. Any help appreciated.<br>

this is simple wiring only.<p>Be advised though, that u have to short a couple of wires to get the CD changer to work.<p>If u look in the picture poster, i posted i believe an EXCEL spreadsheet that has all the wiring u need. I obtained this from the Factory service manuals for the Concert/delta, and the factory service manual for the panasonic cd changer (CD 801. the 601 is the same)<p><br>Save yourself the cost of the adapter, and do it yourself.
