Great quality! The camera is a Nikon CP950. If anyone wants to see what the images look like straight from the camera, I have those too. The ones that came out of the camera were about 700K, so I figured I should compress them a bit and shrink them.
I cover anything that may be sensitive to water. Then I spray a good amount of general purpose cleaner, such as a diluted Simple Green mixture, over the entire engine bay. I use a brush to brush off dirty areas. Then I simply hose it off with a LIGHT spray, until all the cleaner has been washed away. Lastly, I take Vinylex and mist it over all the rubber and plastic in the engine bay to give it a nice protective finish.
Mike

The Grille is an A!Avantgarde piece. The dipstick gets bent slightly outward during the PES install. It is easily reached and checking the oil is no different than prior to the PES kit install. By the way, good eye! Most people wouldn't even think of that.
Mike

Hey,
The engine bay looks great! Did you do the install yourself?
It's much better looking than what is shown on the PES website.. Have you had any problems
getting your engine serviced by Audi? Are you still under warranty?
Thanks,
David

Yes, I am still under warranty. I have not had any problems getting service done at the dealer as of this point. For example, I have gotten the routine maintenance done at no charge. If something mechanical were to go wrong with the engine, I am sure the repair would creep into that gray area; and I very well may have to cover the cost of the repair. So far, the kit has been trouble-free and the car runs very well. I use Sunoco 94 and don't get any detonation at all. I am not expecting any problems, but of course, you never know. Even cars with no modifications at all have their problems, so only time will tell.
Mike
