Here is a picture of "my" first Audi. From what my dad remembers, it was either a '69 or '70. He doesn't remember what model. He does recall that it had a real wood dash board, and it cost him $500, in 1974, to have some part of the suspention fixed. He had to take out a loan to have the repair done.
If anybody can tell me what model this is, I would appreciate it.
BTW, I'm the one in the middle of the front row, wearing the black roller skates. :-)
Matt

Here's a pic of my aunt's 74 (75?) 100ls. Pretty cool, eh?

More 100ls pics

I still remember riding in one at about 110 mph on the highway thinking, this is not my father's Oldsmobile(OK Ford Gran Torino). It just felt so controlled around corners. I think that this was the car that launched Audi in this country.

and I swore I'd never touch another Audi. Fortunately, the A4 has been much more reliable.
Kyle

Yeah...it's pretty much all original too. The paint, intererior etc is the same stuff that came with the car way back when. Hopefully, I'll be able to clear out a garage spot soon and she'll give it to me :)
Warren
