Well, Sean and I have been busy talking to vendors about participating in our NorCal Audi A4 / VW Passat Event this summer. If you recall, it will be held at Sears Point Raceway in Sonoma CA on June 5th (Saturday) from 8am - 5pm. We now have an exciting list of raffle prizes totalling over $7K at this point. Yeah, this is gonna be good.
Here is who is confirmed, and the raffle prizes they have committed:
1) Neuspeed: 2 Stage 1 Chips for 1.8T or 2.8 Passats or Audi A4s - retail value $700
2) New Dimensions: prizes still being determined
3) Ronal Wheels USA: 1 set of 4 Ronal LV 16X7.5" Wheels (fit A4 or Passat) - value $1000
4) Russell Racing: 1 days admission to their High Performance Driving Class - retail value $695
5) H&R Sport Springs: 2 sets of springs - retail value $600
6) Dick's Audi Performance: various items totalling about $500
7) LL-tek: various items totalling about $500-600
8) Clair Parts Express: prizes still being determined
9) Autobahn International: prizes still being determined
10) Audi Performance & Racing: 3-4 Stage 1 chips, and 2 K&N panel air filters - value $1100
11) 2Bennett Audimotive: prizes still being determined
12) A4.org - prizes still being determined
13) Mother's Polishes and Waxes - prizes still being determined
14) Diablo Audi - Concord CA - prizes still being determined
15) Precision Car Stereo - prizes still being determined
16) Motorsport One - prizes still being determined
17) Quattro Club USA - prizes still being determined
18) Greedspeed - prizes still being determined
19) Audi of America - a new S4 for everyone that comes :-)
And we are still working on more vendors.
Remember, if you want to participate in the NASA (National Automobile Sports Assn) High Performance Driving Event that day, you need to sign up soon. Space is definitely limited. The sign up forms can be found on the NASA website (ack! I can't remember the URL right now...do a search on excite for NASA High Performance Driving Event...and it comes up as the first or second option). Several NorCal folks are already signed up...don't be late or you will be standing by the port-o-pottys when everyone drives by. Reminder: For NASA events you must get your car teched BEFORE the event...they will not tech your car at the track. A list of the many places to get a car teched are found on the NASA website. Cost for the driving portion is only $149 (and $25 to join NASA for the year).
Oh yeah, several of the vendors will be bringing project cars; H&R is bringing a modified Audi A3 (yes, an A3)...New Dimensions their purple VW bug and a project Passat....and maybe Audi of America will have a surprize for us (keep tuned). Oh yeah, Greedspeed will probably have Anthony or Jason's project car...or both.
I will provide more updates as time progresses. This is gonna be awesome.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM

Link to the A4 Club Website with more information on the event

Any way of swapping the S4 far an A4.org T-shirt?
