The kit is a little more than your basic plastic model kit. There is no glue involved. However, painting and adding decals are part of the process of making this look like a scale version of the actual thing. Looks fantastic if painted carefully. This is a serious toy. Only quality materials are used throughout. Plastic and metal. The instruction manual is excellent and anyone with basic modeling skills can build it easily. These cars are capable of attaining 35+ mph with hop ups.<p>Paul C
