hi all,<br>i'm a new 99' automatic A4 1.8TQ owner, i've already put on 2100km on it for<br>past 2 weeks,<br>i'm very satisfy about this cute little car. i just love it!<br>now, here's the questions:<p>1. i've noticed some vibration through steering wheel and through my butt,<br>when put the gear in "D" at idle engine speed<br>does your A4 1.8T do the same thing?<p>2. some vibration through gas pedal around 3000RPM.<br>does your A4 1.8T do the same thing?<p>3. when the engine hood closed, push it down with some pressure,<br>i can heard a clicking sound every time when i push it,<br>it feels like the hood is not perfectly closed.<br>does your A4 do the same thing?<p>any comment appreciate<br>thanks!

I have #1 and sometimes #2. I believe that symtom #1 is normal to all automatic cars. Try to use high octane fuel, I use octane 94, and the vibration is gone now.<p>Andy 97 1.8Tqas Pearl
