Scott,
The 99.5 is only going to have some minor changes that are mostly cosmetic. The engines are the same size, no dazzling new technology. I'd say our resale value is pretty much intact. Imagine how pissed somebody who bought a 12v 97 2.8 and then the 98's come out with 20 more hp and nicer interiors.
Jim S.
98 2.8qms (now worth $.02 :-)

Good points, but I still feel ripped, I would rather interior changes that passerby's can't notice. Call me vain, but just my 2cents
-S
Well, the exterior changes between 98 and 99.5 will be about the same as between 96 and 97 (differet trunk lid) and 97 and 98 (different tail lights). Whenever I am passing an A4 here on 101 I can pretty much tell what build date, model, suspension etc. it has. It takes some knowledge to tell them apart. And that will still be the case for 99.5.
- Stan (not caring so much about looks as for feels)
IMHO, we got more than enough suits in this country....this should not be one of them. He should get the car and enjoy...there is not THAT much difference to justify an argument let alone a suit.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
