I am thinking about installing the Neuspeed 230+ kit in My new 1999 A4 1.8TQMS. All of the people that I talk to tell Me that I must install new suspension parts to handle the extra HP. At the very least heavy springs and sway bars. If any one has any experience with a higher HP installation please let Me know if the suspension is a necessary upgrade. I want the vehicle to be a sleeper, not a show car. Thank you in advance and to all a great holiday season.

I interpret from your post that you have the sport suspension. There is no absolute reason why you should have to make susp. changes to accommodate increased HP.<br>BTW I still believe the MTM kit is a better overall choice based on history of Roland Mayer, quality, reliability, etc.
