Has anyone "finished" the paint job on their A4?
What do I mean? Well, the lower body skirt is painted a grey/black and I would like to know if anyone has gone to a monochromatic body color. See, I am considering doing it to my soon to be delivered (June time frame) A4 and have the following questions:
1)Do the lower panels come off for easy of painting, 2)what was your total cost?
I know the lower skirt is painted that grey/black color so that stone chips don't show, but in my application that is unlikely to occur and I really don't care if stone chips do show. I want the monochramatic look.

First of all, the lower skirt is not "painted" black, black is the color of the material it is made of.
I admire what you'd like to do to your car.
Sheez, please newbies, please try to search first. Many of us here are weary of these questions that have been asked and answered before. You will be far more likely to get more help if you do your homework and then ask more educated questions.
After you tell me what you learned during your search, email me and I'll help.

My friend quit his job selling cars in the fleet department at Rusnak in Pasadena. Too busy with school work and some other reasons. I got my car from the fleet department at McKenna. Mike and Alan. Great guys. $1200 over invoice. No haggling. I also REALLY like Michelle at Circle. Really helpful. I would avoid Vasek Polak like the plague. Its' only 20 min from my house, but they treated me AWFUL there. I'll never go back there again, not even for a service.
Michael
