Ok, so I'm thinking of finally taking my AWD lowered A4 (aka snowplow) up to Tahoe in a couple of weeks...and I probably will be draggin along the skiis. My question is..."how long of skiis can fit in the airbag?" I am a long board Super-G kinda guy, so will my 207s fit? I don't want to get all psyched up about this just to find out my skiis don't fit "in" the car while I am packing to go on the trip.
Thanking you in advance.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM

My 203's fit with about 20mm to spare (about 9"). You will need both armrests down to be able to do this.
Joe

If you have an A4, and you have skis wouldn't it make sense to try and fit the skis in the car before leaving for your trip or am I missing something ???????

My girlfriend (who skies) loves the ski sock, but since I haven't gotten a rack yet, I'm just going to have to drop a seat to put my board through. Hmmm... wonder if I could "expand" the ski sock :-)

I was trying to take an informal poll before trying them. Mine are stored away, not easily accessible. I was just trying to find out if any 207/210/215 owners had tried the ski bag yet.
I would definitely try them out now. However, this is one of those things one might assume works fine...so you don't check it out...and then you find out it doesn't fit. Based upon the comments from you nice folks, I think they will fit now. Thanks..
Steve S.
97 2.8QM

So you are Super-G kinda guy, eh? :-) What I used to be back in Switzerland. One nice day I crashed kinda hard, woke up half an hour later. Lost sense of balance for two weeks, was no fun.
Needless to say that I didn't ski too much since. Slalom is no fun and I am honestly scared to go straight down on a 50% slope since then...
But the 205s do fit :-)
- Stan
