Well I bought my car from Mahan and I see posts about horrible dealer experiences.. The car has about 300 miles so far so no service needed yet.. So one my 1st service Don McGill or Mahan Audi? Also has anyone bought service manual for their A4 ? (DonP maybe?) wow for my Twin Turbo Z the books cost around $100.00 Some dude said Audi books are like $400!!! Ouch!! ehhe I like to read about my car so when I do get warranty work done I can drop some bombs on the dealer if they screw with me.. (I did it to Nissan on many occasions ahhahahaha) hmm oh well thanks for your input..

Who was your salesman at Mahan? I bought my 98 2.8QTipS from Steve, he was a likeable guy always cutting himself down and making drug references. "Look you can hide heroin in this compartment!" But in the end, he screwed me on the trade-in after I put money down to transport the car from a Dallas dealership. Overall the buying experience was better than average, esspecially compared to the arrogant Porsche salesmen at Don McGill! As for servicing, I had a horrible experience at Mahan, and plan on trying McGill next time.
Danilo

I went to both Mahon and Don McGill. I thought Mahon where horrible and knew nothing about the car. I bought my 98 A4 from Don McGill and they treated me well enough so I just traded it in on the new A6. The service department is great. I deal with John Nance and Paul. They are extemely helpful and informative.
Good Luck

Bought my A4 from McGill, and have taken it in for service for four scheduled checkups plus other problems. They do an o.k. job, but they are very busy and sometimes it takes a couple days for things to get finished. They give free rental cars (Corollas usually), and are pleasant, but I get tired of going out there, even though I live on that general side of town.
Mahan, on the other hand, well I've never taken my car there for service, but tried for a very minor fix-it one afternoon, and they were too busy, and didn't seem to care that much. No rental car given either I was told. For that reason alone, I still go to Don McGill.
BTW, when I bought my car I got a great deal ($400 over invoice, but it was a couple weeks before the new year models arrived); when I've been back to McGill, they've seemed more reluctant to negotiate; whereas when I test drove some models at Mahan, they acted like they wanted to beat whatever McGill could give me.
All in all, I think McGill has stuffier people, but they treat you better and Mahan seems like they want to "get you in a car", but they could be easier to deal with; except that if a problem ever arose, my experiences tell me McGill would do a better job of ultimately resolving it. Just my $.02.
