Does anyone know the results of C&D radar detector shootout? Does the Bel even come close to Val 1?<br>Thanks for all your help.<br>Pete

Look at it this way every test I have EVER seen rates the V1 tops by a long shot. I have one and can only rave about it. The V1 has saved my bacon many, many times. Think of it this way, you might save maybe a $100 by going for a cheaper radar detector but one ticket and the savings are out the window. I used to have a Passport and the V1 is 100X better. Get one and you will not be dissapointed.<br>

Have to agree with V1 being the best. I've had two other detectors in the past three years (Uniden and Bell). They both died. Finally broke down and bought the V1. It is clearly superior in range and "seeing" the radar move from front-to-side-to-back is just cool. My only complaint is it is downright hefty compared to most other detectors. <br>My recommendation - Buy it!

I agree, just got my V1 yesterday. The visor install was easy, bring wire across top of WS in slot and then down side to fuse box. Mounted remote just behind steering wheel between the two adjustment knobs. Works great!
