Is it worthwhile to buy it? How hard is it to put it on/take off? I was thinking of buying it and using it only for long distance trips (100 miles or more).

ELH 04-05-1999, 06:39 AM Only my first road trip (300 miles total) I had bugs and road chips on the nose of the car I had to take to a body shop to remove. I purchased the Colgan Bra from Autobahn in the product guide here at A4.org and I have used it on every road trip since. Sure it does not look that good on the car, but it is well worth it!
98.5 1.8T (for Sale!)
99 1.8t QM (R28s, Mintex Pads, Blaupunkt Sydney, Pioneer Sub) Garrett or Wett to come very soon! Steve S. 04-05-1999, 07:39 AM But I got a used twice Colgan Bra for sale. Email me if you are interested. It is still in the box...looks brand new and actually is. I had bought it for exactly the reason you are considering it for. Let me know.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
Look in the Red Gallery on this website for a picture of it on my car...(Steve S. - 2.8 12V) - that was one of two times it actually WAS on the car. BTW, it fits like a glove... Curious 04-05-1999, 08:00 AM Steve S. 04-05-1999, 08:22 AM I didn't want to have to clean the underside of the bra as well. I liked the look alot.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM Jose S 04-05-1999, 10:34 AM Hi Steve,
Thanks for your offer, but I'm trying to get my dealership to throw it in for free because I don't have the car yet! :)
Jose Christian J.
